Lethbridge School Committee Meeting

I have just returned from my second Staffing and Finance committee meeting. I've joined this now as finance is a key area of knowledge for me so I can, hopefully, be of use! We looked through some new polices and heard about some of the great courses our staff have been on recently. we are lucky to have such devoted staff!

Lethbridge School Governing Board Meeting

I attended the full Governing Board meeting yesterday. There was a
wonderful presentation by our deputy head about the Rose Report. It sounds promising, but will require funding to be introduced
in full.
Again we talked about traffic issues at the school. There will
be an accident soon unless something changes. It's very hard to
convince people to walk in this kind of weather though. It's a shame that the
person in charge of helping school set up "walking bus" schemes and
alike has been made redundant by our forward thinking council!

Governors' Meeting

I attended the Staffing and Finance committee meeting at Lethbridge School this evening. Very interesting, I shall probably end up on this one!
