Tony Juniper

Having just heard the Tony Juniper has been selected as PPC for the Green Party in Cambridge, I can't help but be very excited about it! He's campaigned on green issues for more than 25 years and as Campaigns Director and later Director of Friends of the Earth he led many successful initiatives on a wide range of issues. He's just what the Green Party needs right now!

I also also read today that Mark Ereira-Guyer, long standing St Edmundsbury councillor and current leader of the Labour group there, has resigned from the Labour Party in dismay at the Government decision to give the go-ahead to another runway at Heathrow, and has applied to join the Green Party. I'll confirm if/when I get the news.
